The Komodons are an ancient amphibious race that evolved in swamps at the base of the great volcano. For centuries they were content to lead simple reclusive lives. Their swampland communities were of little interest to the other races. Then, during the Elven civil wars, conflict spilled over into the Komodon lands. The Komodons were forced to learn the arts of war very quickly. They learned them well. Today the Komodons are feared throughout the world. Their attacks on ships and seaside villages are carried out with great ferocity and the exact precision of crack commando raids. Once an attack is over, the Komodons disappear into the black depths. This is their biggest advantage. Their enemies can not follow them. Komodons never take prisoners. Prisoners would just drown anyway. When the Komodons go to war, the world trembles !
