Starship troopers, D&D, Warhammer is gathering dust but might get dusted off someday.

.....I've got a sizable Dark Legion force for Warzone that will never see daylight as I never did know anyone who played it 'round these parts.  Still, evil animated corpses and a stompy bio-giant are where it's at!

Where are these parts you speak of --- I bet I can track you down an opponent if you are interested.

Fargo (ND) dontcha know.  If anyone actually plays around here it could be interesting.  I'd actually have an excuse to...gasp...open the blister packs  Shocked

I always did like Warzone.  Played a lot of Doomtrooper CCG for a while, so when our local hobby store downsized, I jumped on their stock of Dark Legion stuff.

I can't think of anyone out there, but I don't have the contacts you have Top...

I know that our buddy Kevin has been looking for someone in his area (Mich), but since Glen K and Kurt disappeared from the forums, I can't think of anyone in his area either...

I picked up the rulebook for Infinity today. The book is beautiful. But I
haven't read it yet. Someone told me that the language gets mangled in
a Confrontation-esque kind of way.

Hmmm... This might actually be a tough one -- I may have to check my pooter for a Motel 6 in Fargo and bring the troops.  Shocked   Wink

@Topkick
There is a Motel 6 in town, situated conveniently just slightly behing the crossing of the two interstates that pass through town.  While I can't recommend intentionally traveling to Fargo, if you do happen to find yourself in the general area, let me know.   I could break out the mini's and we could get a game or two going.

Well first off, I am VERY amazed that so many people are playing Necromunda still! I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE! *sniffle* You guys are like me!! Actually it makes sense in here to hear about Necromunda players, since Armorcast terrain is so perfect for that game!

Right now I am playing Infinity and Necromunda
I also play FoW and Blood Bowl

Hey Crush,
Did I forget to put warning stripe decals in with your order? I found a stray sheet by the packing table around the time yours went out.

no...I still play it occasionally...the problem is that some of the people up here that I know that still play it I don't want to be in the same room with...have to find a new group to play the game with so my blood pressure doesn't increase because of the rampant idiocy...

My group seemed to stop months ago.

I guess I was one of the few who was really enjoying myself (and that with
losing my heavy in my second game!)

It did help that I got a bunch of Ambush skills and a Powerfist...

I always played Spyrers with that group...nothing to get a bunch of rules lawyers grumbling than having a small team of 5 that just blast away their highly experienced team...

normally I either play Cawdor or Redemptionists, but I always hoped for the power skills...

For those who are interested, I've been heavy into Warhammer 40k and Warhammer fanasy for a while now. I've also got some Necromunda, BFG, and Epic 40k kicking around too. Although I must admit I'm also rather partial to War at Sea, Battletech, and Illuminati, though those have been gathering some dust as of late.
