Does anybody have any good ideas on best way to paint/decal camo on figurines?
the tatoo decals look great offered here
Planning on "battle axe" ork army  oops     the "GWS" stuff

Lay down your midtone first. Then light and dark splotches. For instance, if you're doing Urban camo, start with a mid-tone gray. then do White then Black patterns (darker effect) or Black then White patterns (lighter effect).

Also Osprey books offer a lot of great detail photos and color renderings of camo patterns used in WWII thru current army designs. I concur with matt starting of with a mid tone, dark tone and the light color. If you want to do some shading I would paint the mid tone, add your shadow and hightlights then add the camo pattern and then go over the pattern with the shadow color and the higlight color to really make it pop.
