Just scoped out the 1/285 scale stuff and I would love to see the Infantry Emplacements done as part of the 28mm Trench Sets. I have several of those sets but the 1/285 emplacements would make a great addition to the sets.

Seems possible, I envision something with about a 10" footprint and maybe 7 inches of actual pit space. The trick will be to make it work as both a stand alone piece and as a fully integrated trench piece.

I can totally see the emplacement as a stand alone piece. I would pair it with a radio tower or radar dish and use it as an OP/LP. I could also see pairing it with a foamcore terrain hill for an OP for a honeycombed mountain set-up. I could also see using 4 of them and some trench pieces and make them the perimeter for a VTOL landing pad. Like most Armorcast offerings -- the Infantry Emplacement would be a very versatile piece.

it sounds like the stand alone emplacements that a friend of mine has...I don't know who made them, but they look good as a pseudo-bunker type hardpoint as well as a portion of the trenchline (I don't think that it was part of the trench set he has, but it integrates well)...

Hey all, first time visitor. Just thinking, what about some stairs? If you were to make some there would be three basic genres to cover, Medieval, Modern, and Sci-Fi... Also both straight, L-bend and spiral staircases would be nice. Of course they'd have to match up with the stucco building kits. Think about it, modular stairway kits! Maybe not the most interesting piece, but very practical. Though, you have to consider how wide and deep to make the steps. I'd say at least 30mm wide, and 20mm deep. A lot of the newer games use 30mm figure bases, and you want to be able to accommodate those.

BTW, if you're wondering, I'm not currently an owner of any Armorcast scenery. (I got into the hobby a short time before Armorcast was shut down.) I'm pretty interested in the line of Stucco buildings. When I read that brick versions were in the works, I have to say, I was excited. I've been considering making a modular table, and kits like those would be a great way to get a few modules quickly made.

Hey Spook,
Welcome to the forum. We've been batting this idea around for a few weeks now. And as soon as we figure out how to make the stairs both functional and cool looking, we will be all over it.

Hi Guys -
Just brain-storming here ...
I would love to see some sort of kits for INTERIOR settings :

1)  Starship spaces (corridors, cargo bays, infirmaries, weapons lockers, command bridge, etc, etc);

2)  Large "underhive" spaces to enclose all the cool refineries and tech canals (double-height walls with oversize bay doors and cat walks);

3)  Modular dungeons and decor / traps / points of interest (Arcane Temple, torture chambers, stairs, etc)

4)  Interior items to go into Medieval Buildings (I hope you get those back) like beds, tables, benches, weapon racks, store tables, barrels of provisions, etc, etc.

5) Maybe even interior wall packs to place into the Medieval Buildings (did I mention that I hope you get these back???)

Now I realize that most of these can be found through various sources and vendors, but I'd love for Armorcast to put their spin on them.  There's plenty of room in the marketplace to create their own unique take on the items and, with the all detail we've come to know and love Armorcast for, they'd be amazing !!

We have released and shown the new Starship Corridor system at Adepticon. After inital comments we are working up the pricing for complete sets as well as additional modular components.

With the rise in popularity of Malifaux, I'd say there is growing demand for terrain -  Wild West, Victorian, Steam Punk...

With the re-release of the Medieval line of buildings there are the two wooden shacks, barn, stable and smithy that would work for that game system. Also check out all of the wild steam creations that Shawn has made over the years too!
