the new missle launcher is looks awesome(ordering some)
Any ideas how to "blend" the different meduims together?
Super Glue?
Doweling?
Putty?
and the best yet painting?
Glue leaves "extras" which means sanding (small area / detail removal)
Doweling also means glueing
Putty breaks very easliy which is OK with stand off pieces put uselless
in a gaming envroniment

Pinning or roughing up the surfaces to give the glue a rougher surface to adhere to has always seemed to work. I know a guy who roughs up both sides and then uses a thin amount of greenstuff to join the two when joining different mediums. It is labor intensive but has worked up to now.

Try a long, tight fitting pin in the effect, but don't glue it to the weapon. This keeps the effect removable for transport or maneuvering through tight terrain.
this is especially helpful with the large effects like flame gouts and heavy lasers.
