Help an Altoids addict
«

I go through 2-3 Altoid tins a week and obviously being a scenery maker and by default a bitz hoarder, I cannot justify throwing away the tins.
If you all could come up with some cool products similar to the soda can toppers that utilized Altoid tins, I could continue to justify my habit and prevent my wife frome throwing them out!

Use them to hold your ciggarettes. It keeps them from being squished in your pocket.

I have an idea, it could make a cool electronics cabinet that can open up. The would be 2 resin inserts with technogubins and a wall for the tin to insert into to hold it up. It could be used for rolepklaying as well as an obective point.

I like the Electronics Cabinet idea. Here are a few others - most of them involve removing the lid.
Water Collection Tank
- If you remove the lid, a piece could be inserted that looks like water with a space in the middle to set one of the sci-fi water condensers.
Airlock
- Replace the lid with a resin airlock door and use it in among the sci-fi walls
Fountain
- Basically the Water Collection Tank idea but with a fountain placed in the space where the condenser would be placed for the scifi version
Underground Missile Silo
- Make an insert that resembles a missile in an underground silo. You could make it in two pieces - The missile that inserts into the center of the altoid box and a piece that has the roof hatch slid back. The second piece would have a hole in the middle where the altoid box would be placed.

Ginfitter and Topkick, thanks for the ideas. I like the electronics cabinet as well, and the airlock too. Breakout the resin!

I didn't know you were looking for terrain uses (does nobody smoke anymore?).
You could put dice in them.

Use the tins on their sides to make spaceship/tech walls. Place them on their sides(long side down). Maybe alternate the sides with the lids facing forward& backward.
